Contacting your Coach

Members and parents are reminded to respect the coach’s privacy and where it is necessary to ring your coach then try to do so before 7pm. Preferably any issues should be discussed immediately before or after training sessions. Those who need to notify their coach regarding their inability to attend a training session should either notify their coach at a training session or text them as soon as they know they will be unable to attend.

Coaching Accreditation

North Esk encourage all coaches to achieve accreditation to Level 2 or 3 of the new Australian Coach Accreditation Scheme. These accreditation levels give coaches the “skills to work with state level teams and junior national teams. Level 3 focuses more heavily on applied sports science concepts, and aims to provide the coach with the ‘tools of the trade’ to develop athletes to their potential.”
